The Pavilion dv7-4060us Entertainment 17.3" Notebook Computer from Hewlett-Packard is a 17.3" notebook computer with a host of multimedia capabilities. The computer's 16:9 widescreen display features LED backlight technology for superior image quality and enhanced energy efficiency. It features a native resolution of 1600 x 900, higher than that of 720p video. Audio is provided by a Beats processor and Altec Lansing speakers, which work together to deliver studio-quality sound.
The system features the HP MediaSmart software suite and an HDMI port for HDTV connectivity. MediaSmart lets you watch Internet TV via Hulu and play music from CDs, Pandora Internet Radio, or the HP Rhapsody Music store. You'll also be able to use it to watch Internet videos, or to create your own videos for upload to YouTube.
The integrated webcam allows you to chat online -- you'll even be able to download special video effects and avatars via the Internet. You'll be able to use the computer to edit and print photos with Snapfish. Netflix software is installed, allowing subscribers to stream select movies to their computer via the web.
The system is powered by a 2.1GHz AMD Phenom II Triple-Core N830 CPU and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a biometric fingerprint reader, and a SuperMulti DVD burner
